Clyde Williams grew up in Texas and as a teen went to Subiaco Academy in Arkansas, where he learned exactly how human monks can be while living under a bell tower. Afterwards, he attended Seattle Pacific University, where he was an active member of the crew team, earned a B.A. in English, and developed a life-long affinity for sunlight. Upon graduation, he joined the Peace Corps and served two years in Belene, Bulgaria as an ESL teacher, while working on a project to encourage teens to write screenplays.
After the Peace Corps, Clyde traveled extensively through Europe, India, and Thailand. He then returned to the United States and moved to Washington, DC in 2007. He continues to call Washington his home, and was recently married. In addition to writing, he enjoys brewing beer, taking tae kwon do, and dodging traffic on his bike.
